Jocelin Gallardo

"Through her involvement with various MSS Centers and the collaborations she has helped coordinate within and among its various programs, Jocelin exhibits respect, openness, and empathy. She readily sits with tutors, asking about their days and listening with care for their concerns. She often shares with me about her work on behalf of the Chicanx Latinx community that she is a part of and is intently aware of the concerns facing the community within the university and nationally. Fluent in both Spanish and English, she often serves an an intermediary. Overall, Jocelin continues to act professionally, not just effectively but with the kindness and empathy necessary for a job that serves all." - Dr. Tabitha Espina, AEC Program Assistant
